Katie Ray, DVM

Dr. Ray has been an associate veterinarian here at Leland Vet Clinic since June of 2019. She grew up in East Cobb Georgia, and currently resides locally. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Emory University, she obtained her DVM from UGA graduating as Valedictorian in 2010. She truly believes in delivering the best possible care for her clients and their pets. Dr. Ray’s special interests include preventative care, enjoys the diversity of general practice, truly thrives in emergency/urgent care, client education, and building impactful and long lasting connections with the animals she cares for and the humans who love them which revolves around mutual trust and compassion. Additionally, Dr. Ray is passionate about applying the most up-to-date techniques for dental procedures. Outside of work, Dr. Ray stays fit by running, and chasing after her two young boys and their two black cats. She loves exploring the outdoors, social dancing (Brazilian Zouk, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Bachata and Ballroom). We are so lucky she chose Leland to be the home to practice her gold standard of veterinary care!
